30+ Benedictions In The BIBLE For Worship
Benedictions and Bible verses to start your day or end it on a high. All of the Benedictions come along with images that you can share on Social Media.
Most people on our planet pray at least sometimes in their lives. Usually, they work without any special thinking and do not find it difficult. Children pray — often with enchanting simplicity and ease. When we are threatened by some trouble or danger, the immediate reaction of many people is to pray. It seems to be, in a sense, the most natural and spontaneous thing in the world. More on Monday blessings blog post.
Yet, for Christians, prayer seems to be anything but the easiest thing to do in the world. We know we need to pray. We feel, almost instinctively, that prayer should be at the center of our lives. However, there are a few areas that cause so much failure in our Christian life and guilt. Only a few things are as desperately difficult as persistent prayer. There are only a few things that can make us feel less as Christians than it is a long period without prayer.
That is why we have made this collection of benedictions and images. To help you in your prayer process and to feel more inspired and motivated when communicating with our Savior. More from this topic on Saturday Blessings.

How to approach an inaccessible God
Based on what we have seen so far, it seems that prayer is both an exciting possibility and practically impossible! God is the almighty creator and a ruler of the world who enjoys showing charity to those who invoke him. And yet, he is uncompromisingly holy and just God, whose eyes are too pure to see evil and leaves no culprit unpunished.
How can we establish any relationship with a God like this when are we what we are: sinful and imperfect people? How do we approach one who resides in an inaccessible light? And if we have no confidence that we can access it, how can we hope to talk to him, make our demands to him, and expect him to listen to them? How can a sinner pray to a holy God?
We find the answer to this question in a story that takes place through the Bible. It begins with a report on how God created the human race and with him the world and all that is in it. It tells us how humanity is rebelled against God and was cast out of his holy presence and how a mighty angel with a fiery sword was placed at the entrance to The Garden of Eden to make a return impossible.
The angel with the flaming sword is in many ways a symbol of the problem that all humanity is facing. The way to God is blocked and we can’t get to it. As the biblical story further develops, God himself decides to rectify the situation. He takes the initiative to re-establish a relationship with his rebel creature. We covered this on Sunday Blessings. Click on the link for more.
It is very important that we understand how this new relationship came about with God, what he is like, and in which direction he is moving. If we understand these simple but essential things, we will be well on our way to understanding prayer as well.
